OLE MISS GOLF COACH GRABS 8TH COUNTY AM TOURNAMENT TROPHY

Mississinewa assistant golf coach Andy Varner captured his eighth Grant County Amateur trophy on Sunday. The 72 hole tournament highlighted Varner finishing the final round with a 72. Through the hot 72 holes, Varner tied with one of Grant County’s greatest golfers, Jim Gallagher Jr with a 270. Varner has now moved closer to becoming the all time winningest golfer in tournament history. Now Varner will give back to the Mississinewa High School youth golf camp that starts today at the Marion Elks.
