Tennis ends season in a tough loss, baseball sets to go head to head with rival

Baseball– Coach Scott and the Indians defeated Taylor last night on Senior night. The Indians gave up a 8 run lead but came back in the bottom of the 7th to seal the deal. Final Mississinewa 13 Taylor 12. Landen Swanner with the win going 2 for 5 with 3 RBI’s, Cade Campbell 3 for 4, Carson Campbell 2 for 3 and Colin Yoder with 2 RBI’s. The Tribe is back in action tonight as they travel to Converse to take on their rival with a 5pm first pitch. 

Tennis– The 2019 Girls tennis season came to a end last night as they lost to their rival, the Marion Giants 1-4. Lady Indian #2 Singles player Tyra Stanley was the lone winner with a 6-1 6-0 win, the Indians end their season in a tough loss but the Tribe has a share as the Central Indiana Conference champions. Congratulations Ladies on a GREAT season. 

Softball– The lady Indians took down Huntington North last night 11-1 in 6 innings of play. Jenna Berryhill with 5K’s, 2hits, 5BB’s, Madison Stanley went 3-4, 2B, RBI, Kiley Smalley went 2-4, 3RBI’s and Amaya David was 2-4 for the Tribe. The Lady Indians are back in action tonight vs Eastern. First pitch at 5pm.
