The Mississinewa varsity baseball team traveled to Yorktown last night and had a rough night on the field, losing 5-0. The Tribe didn’t put up any hits, with only one runner put on base by a walk. Landen Swanner and Holden Brown were put on the mound.
Mississinewa Softball hosted a Varsity and JV double header. The varsity won 10-0 in 5 innings. Jenna Berryhill threw a one-hitter, Lexie Cruzen went 2 for 3. The JV team also won.
Lady Indians tennis team lost 4-1 to preseason rank #28 the Marion Lady Giants at home. Maggie Herring was the only Lady Indian that won at 3-singles. The JV also lost 3-1. The Tribe could have a chance to meet up again with Marion in sectional 36 later this season.
