Gas City- After a 16-9 season for the Mississinewa Indians Basketball team, Andrew Evertts resigned from the head coaching job at Mississinewa. After 4 years of being at Mississinewa Andrew Evertts and his wife Susan are expecting a child later this year in August. Evertts had mentioned that he would like to move a little bit closer to home. After resigning last month Evertts received good news last week, he will now be the head coach at North Montgomery High School. “The biggest thing we were looking for was a great place to raise our family. We heard great things about the Crawfordsville area, I talked to a lot of people who had coached in the area, and I haven’t heard anything negative yet.” Last Evening the Mississinewa Indians announced James Reed as the new Varsity Head Coach. Reed has been with the team as an assistant to Evertts over the last 4 years. “It is humbling, It is an amazing opportunity and I am ready to get to work!” “I am excited about the vision I have for this group along with the vision I have for the lower levels as they come up through the program.” “I can’t wait to begin to start putting the pieces in place, It is literally a dream come true, I’m not sure the reality of it has completely sunk in at this point!” For More Updates on MHS and RJB athletics stay tuned to @MCSCAthletics on Social Media.Coach Reed.jpg
