Mississinewa and Oak hill are among 85 school districts recognized for Advanced Placement Honor roll. They were recognized because of their outstanding work in the programs. The IDOE would go to say this “defy the expectation that expanding access automatically results in fewer scores of three or better.”

The Mississinewa High schools choirs performed a Christmas concert yesterday at Brookhaven. While the Mississinewa band performed the Yuletide Spectacular at Indiana Wesleyan University.

The City of Marion is suing First Farmers Bank & Trust, the trustee on the failed project to remodel the Old YMCA. The complaint filed by the city alleges, through local attorney Joe Certain, that First Farmers distributed funds to Global Investment Consulting, Inc. without proper documentation.
