Indians set to clash with the Giants

Tomorrow night at 7pm The Mississinewa Indians Football team is set to clash with the Marion Football Giants. For the first time in 40+ years both teams get a chance at one another as the play for next weeks sectional championship game. The Giants defeated the Indians back in 1973 at Dick Lootens Stadium by a final score of 7-6. The Indians are looking to get back even with the Giants tonight, but the most important task on the Indians minds is getting to next weeks sectional championship.

“The Duo”

The Marion Giants have a very very talented backfield with Senior QB “Juice” Justin Johnson and the Sophomore RB of JK Thomas. Johnson has passed for 915 yards and 11 TD’s. Rushing the ball Johnson has 968 rushing for 11 TD’s. JK Thomas on the other hand has 531 yards rushing for 5 TD’s. Be sure if you are an Indian fan to keep an eye on “The Duo” of Justin Johnson and JK Thomas.
