The Indians go 2-3 last night in Conference Play

Last night in Conference play both the Baseball and Softball team traveled to Oak Hill. Baseball won 10-6 over Oak Hill. The Indians combined for 6 Homeruns as a team. Nolan Young had 2 Cade Mccoin, Garrison Smith and Timothy Nemes with a Homerun. Lucas Richards had a grand slam to make up the teams 6th homerun. The Tribe improved to 3-0 in the conference with the pitching of Gage Gallion. Next Time out for the Baseball team will be Tonight at Southern Wells game is scheduled for a 5pm Start.Baseball

Softball Also traveled to Oak Hill for a JV/Varsity Doubleheader. Game 1 featured the Junior Varsity Lady Indians with Jenna Berryhill and Alivia Rice making up the battery. Berryhill Pitched a complete game with 4 hits and 5 Strikeouts. Offensively the JV Ladies had 15 hits as a team. Jenna Berryhill was 3-3 with 5RBI’s. Tyler Bartel, Samantha Tann, Cierra Vasquez, and Rilyn Swafford each with 2 hits.

2017_softball_jv.jpgFor the Varsity Lady Indians things didn’t go as planned losing their 2nd conference game of the season to Oak Hill falling 14-9. Erika Foy was on the mound for the Lady Indians pitching a complete game with 13 Hits 4 strikeouts and 1 Base on Balls. Offensively Freshman 2nd Baseman Riley Mckee led the bats for the Lady Indians going 2-3 with 2RBI’s. Mckee also scored 2 runs, Kenzie Skeens was 2-4 with 2RBI’s and Darcie Patton was 2-4. The Lady Indians had 8 errors as a team and 2 major Innings defensively that dug themselves a deep hole. 3 Errors in the 3rd Inning that allowed 5 runs and 3 Errors in the 4th Inning that allowed 4 runs. The Lady Indians will be back in action Tomorrow night at Frankton for a JV/Varsity Doubleheader starting at 5:30!Softball Serious
